1 star or 2 star General?

Hi anyone and everyone,

I am curious....

If you meet the criteria for General once your a Full Bird Colonel and are about to rank up according to global score, can you bypass 1 star and go straight to 2 star if you meet the requirements for 2 star General or is it a MUST that you meet the requirements for 1 star general 1st?

I ask because I meet all the requirements for both 1 star and 2 star general (even though Im only a Captain) and Im wondering if I REALLY have to spend 45 more hours in a freaking tank?

NOTE: please don't inform me that I don't have enough time in game yet because by the time I reach Full Bird Colonel...Ill have the time requirements achieved.

Yes, you must have the requirements for a 1star general before you can become a 2star.

If you have the requirements for both, then when you get one point you'll get promoted to 1star, and when you get another point you'll get promoted to 2star.

* Awards: Veteran Armor Badge, Veteran Transport Badge, Veteran Helicopter Badge, Veteran Aviator Badge, Veteran Air Defense Badge, Veteran Ground Defense Badge
* Notes: Requires 1080 hours playtime

Major General

Requirements:

* Rank: Brigadier General
* Score: 180,000
* Awards: Veteran Knife Combat Badge, Veteran Pistol Combat Badge, Veteran Assault Combat Badge, Veteran Anti-tank Combat Badge, Veteran Sniper Combat Badge, Veteran Spec Ops Combat Badge, Veteran Support Combat Badge, Veteran Engineer Combat Badge, Veteran Medic Combat Badge
* Notes: Requires 1250 hours playtime

so well if you're getting close to Brigadier General and you already have 1250 hours+ then I think it will (ones you optain everything you need for B.Gen) let you be promoted to B.General with your first point and then the next General with another point,

thats what I think, tho im not sure.

You can still have all req, but not have the time so you cant rank. Like me for intense, I can get 3 stars but I dont have the time req for it, which is soo gay.

Also, I never worried much about the time requirements. I spent much time flying and getting 100 hours with each class and it sort of made it easier for when my global score does actually reach the needed amount.

To answer your other question, yes u have to spend another 45 hrs for vet armor. Without it, you won't become a 1star.

Once you have the 45 hrs and the Vet armor badge you will get promoted to 2 Star Gen when you reach the point requirements. With the time in game you have now plus the time you have to go to meet the requirements it should balance out. It is possible if that you could not meet the time requirements for 2 Star Gen. In which case you will promoted to 1 Star Gen and the promoted again to 2 Star Gen on the round after you have the time requirements.

DICE really screwed the pooch on this.

The badge requirements for 2 star are ALWAYS achieved before the badge requirements for 1 star.

Typically most people wont have a problem puttin gin the hours.

So as mentioned above after 180 000 points, the first point you will get 1 star and the next point will get you the second star

WAY TO GO DICE. The requiremnents should have been the other way around. DOH

Don't get me started on the gold badges.
