I just got a new monitor, the Samsung syncmaster 226BW, and i changed my resolution to 1680x1050, but when i go to load bf2. the screen goes black for about 1/2 a second, then goes back to desktop... why? Karma for my savior!
Maybe lower the resolution.
Try to run it at 800x600 at 60 by editing the file.
Try that and get back to us.

"C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050

Nah, im running the same resolution, and his works fine... he gave me a few suggestions.. such as monitor drivers, and video card drivers, but that didnt help...ryan_14 wrote:
