It's pretty simple man.

Just upload the stuff to your webserver and go to that directory.

Well, If you want to Waste 160 USD, Get VBulletin, If you want Something Free, And Pretty Much Just as Good as VBulletin, FOR FREE, Get PunBB.

Okay.

A: Unless you stole Vbulletin (believe me im a warez fan, but i HIGHLY discourage using a bogus copy of forum software) Why would you be wondering which to use. Ive never used PunBB but im fucking godly with PhpBB2 which i HIGHLY recommend. I would be happy to install something on your webserver for you.

But you need a server, and a SQL database. Do you know you have those?

After that its really simple. Here's the idea:

Say your domain is domain.com
And you want your forum to be at domain.com/forum
then you would go to your webserver and in the domain.com folder, make a folder called 'forum'

Now, take the files in your software package, for Phpbb2 they would be in the 'phpbb2' folder, and copy/paste (or drag) them to your 'forum' folder.

Then you would go to
Domain.com/forum/install/install.php and you would get a screen where you fill out your SQL database info

If you want me to install something for you i would be glad too. I love it

But, for the record, A bought copy of Vbulletin is GODLY!!! It's really good forum software with lots of mods, but, most mod sites require proof you bought it, therefore, you cant get any mods with a bogus copy
