Just wondering, whats some good classical music? It seems to make me work on homework better and is a good anti-stresser. As some of you know, i have a chronic rage problem and playing BF2 with classical pumping in the background seems to calm me.
Omg hello gene, welcome back from your ICONZ banning.
All i know of is baithoven (i know thats not correct)

Search for Leif Ove Andsnes, he`s goooood !

I suggest some Saint-Saëns. Have a Listen to Saint-Saëns Carnival of the Animals (it is a collection of music). Also I would have a listen to The Planets by Gustav Holst (another collection of songs) although if you have a chronic rage problem then maybe you should not listen to the Song "Mars" as it will make you feel strong!
Wagner - Ride of the Valkries
"Edvart Grieg" is very nice for relaxing.
You`ll also love "the four seasons" By Antonio Vivaldi
None of those are stressfull to listen to, a lot of classical music is, because of the overtures and shit.

~ Do you not know that in the service … one must always choose the lesser of two weevils?
Beethoven is the grand master of music, anything by him is good.
I'm no expert but here are a few really nice pieces:
Nussun Dorma - Puccini (Pavarotti does a great version of this)
Claire De Lune - Claude Debussy
1812 Overture: Finale - Tchaikovsky (best ending in a song ever ...some versions have cannon blasts!)
Adagio For Strings - Barber
Music For Strings, Percussion And Celesta: III. Adagio - Bela Bartok (used in the film The Shining)
For some nice modern classical stuff try Alexandre Desplat, Thomas Newman and John Williams (they do a lot of film score stuff).

I like the Penguin Cafe Orchestra. I'm not really sure if you'd consider them classical... I don't really know what they are. It's uh... odd music.
Don't listen to Bach whilst studying. Although Bach is probably my second favourite classical composer, (after Tchaicovsky.) Saint-Seans may be good to study to, everything but the track "Fossils" anyway, (too lively.)
Good study choices are Handel and Vivaldi, althouh I find them boring.
Oh and remember - Rachmaninoff is awesome! His music is fairly good, but his name absoloutly rules!

Anything by Paganini or Tchaikovsky.
from the top of my head: Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Schumann, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, Wagner, Vivaldi, Puccini, Hayden, Brahms, Carl Maria von Weber, Offenbach, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Händel, and loads more I can't think of now. Also film music can be pretty good.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
Not so well known as the others but quite good, have a recording with him by the Norwegian pianoplayer AndsnesTy wrote:

I'll only listen to classical if it involves an electric guitar, and a kick-ass drum kit.
Which it doesn't, so too bad.
