Ok, ok, i am too lazy (or just too little time on my hands) t o search the forum thoroughly.
And maybe I should turn to EA for help, but that takes ages...
Here's my question:
I would like to create a dedicated COOP LAN server so I can play at home with friends without too much lag.
On 2 machines i have legit versions of BF2 running. Now I would like to know whether I need a 3rd legit version to start the server or can I install 1 version on server and on player station and run dedicated server alongside the client on 2 different machines same time?
And if so, is there an option to only install server software or must it always be the full game?
I hope I stated my question clear enough. I am no native english speaking and my knowledge of server-client technical terms is limited.
Thanks in advance
