Great isnt it, back to how it was before

Mines suck now there isn't enough grass or cover for them to be effective against Tankers. So it really doesn't matter much anyway.

Also I use to love running up to tanks and just droping the mines on them and they actually worked.

YAY! That means that if a sniper places a C4 charge to cover his ass (and he doesn't do it on top of ladders etc.) An enemy sniper can pick it up and kill him

But the mines - yeah, they should be more difficult to spot, like they were half-digged down or something.. Plus - an engy shouldn't have to have a wrench to pick it up, I'm sick of what that miracle-wrench can do.. defuse mines, fix tanks standing next to your tank, fix a bridge by looking at it menacingly... *sigh*

lol, i didn't know that snipers had c4. i must have the defective kit. seriously tho, it will be a serious improvement to be able to place yer 'mores, and then be able to pick them up again to move to a different spot. I would also imagine that an enemy sniper could only pick up the mine if he wasn't already carrying two - I doubt the change means you could carry four.

Another problem: When a oppenent climbs up the ladder, he is definitely on the "business end" of that claymore.... that means: sniper climbs ladder, sniper sees claymore, sniper hears loud *BOOM*, sniper falls down the ladder calling for a medic for being in a world of hurt...

But hell, if I went into a narrow space and saw an enemy C4, I'd happily toss one of mine in a safe direction to be able to pick his up and kill him

Now what about C4? I would love to be able to carry someone elses C4 in my trousers - then all of a sudden, BOOM! Soiled underpants

I think, your underpants would be the least of your concerns ;-) and anyway.... why to you carry those big C4 packages in you trousers?... Kinda reminds me of "Hey, is that C4 in you pants or are you just happy to see me"

waht can I say? I dnot konw teh direffnce bweten C4 and clmyorae...

I mean of course the obvious... C4 = spec ops and claymore = sniper
