I watched a program with two scientists who both had different views on global warming. One was all for it saying that it is the carbon emissions that are causing the earth to warm, but the other one had some interesting points.

1 point being that back in the 70's even with all the carbon emissions being produced, the scientists were saying that the earth was actually cooling and was going to head into an ice age. Another point being that the earth has constantly changed in climate through the millions of years of it's life, and most of this time humans were not around so what caused this climate change? So basically they are saying that the earth is just changing naturally and it has nothing to do with carbon emissions and humans.
I think the film you watched was "The great global warming swindle" a very informative film.
Made with one of the co-founder's of green peace.

Its basically points out that co2 emissions are not the cause of golbal warming.

it is very common that dod lovers hate cats and cat lovers hate dogs. IMO the fact is that dog lovers have never really had any experience of cats and stereotype them as not being as loving as a dog, and cat lovers have never really had any experience of dogs and stereotype them as being smelly things that lick their balls all the time.

Each to his own though.

I've owned a few cats before, but I still much prefer a dog than a cat. And if people say dogs are smellier than cats they're retarded... dogs take a dump outside, not in a plastic box full of sand.

Plus cats are sissies that chase strings... where as dogs you can actually wrestle with, play tug-of-war with, etc.

Dogs > Cats.

Just to pull you up on this comment, I would say here that you are partially correct but not really.

Yeah if you have a house cat, that does not go outside, that is litter trained, it will do its business in the litter tray, but that is something that you have to put up with. If you have a house cat that does go out, then it will poop and pee outside.

So there might be a smell from the litter tray, but Cats themselves do not smell unless it is a Tom cat who likes to spray all the time.

For me, Dogs smell more because they are not able to clean themselves. So if the owner does not clean it, then the smell will get worse. Cats clean themselves so do not smell.

I have also had dogs and cats, but I still prefer Cats.
