PC games mate. Metal Gear Solid is one of my favorite games too, but the pc port was pretty disappointing. The PS version was the bomb though.

I wouldn't have the Sims or Age of Empires up there either, but I suppose they were very popular.

I'd certainly have either Doom or Quake in there, since those are two games that not only revolutionised FPSs, but are also great games in their own right. I'd have had Warcraft I instead of 2 as well, Warcraft I was revolutionary, though slightly overshadowed by the later released C&C.

Only 1 entry per series. That accounts for X-Wing (Tie Fighter was better) and Civilisation (Civ 4 is better). Ultima I guess a lot of people have forgotten about, despite the greatness of some of them. I can't understand why either Doom or Quake are not included though. Wing Commander wasn't as good as X-Wing or Tie Fighter, so no suprise not to see that - the series was also a bit tarnished by WC3, which was rubbish.

Yay for Grim Fandango at #15!
Although I can't agree on everything on the list as I don't know some of them and havn't played others. I admit I am a predominantly FPS player, so I was surprised that the grandaddy FPS games wern't there, (Wolfenstein/Doom/even bloody Duke Nukem 3D.) I suppose they're not really that good games anyways.

BF1942 deserves it's place more than BF2 would. It's simply the better game. People play for fun instead of stats or annoying others.
Likewise with Half-Life. #2 is better, it's mindblowing, wheras the oiginal Half-Life was meerly pretty darn awesome. Honestly Half-Life 2 needed to be further up the list methiks, (at least the top 5.)
