I would like to see just a few thingys like more accuracy in weapons like the m249, its rediculas how that gun fires in the game even from point blank range i cant seem to kill a single soul.

More power for the sniper rifles. With a barrett CAL .50 real life spec ops fire through APC's and other armoured vehicles. So a mere vest wouldnt stop such caliber from killing the pray.

Better rules on teamkills, especially concerning mines of all sorts, also running infront of your vehicle, or humping your chopper/bird while taking off.

More points for killing a tank, vehicle with an arm/shoulder held weapon. Or being a tank killing another tank. Or what I have done so many times, Downing an attack chopper while driving my tank!!!!!!!! That takes skill.

More Horsepower for tanks, ever sat on a sloped piece of hill and tried too eccelerate your tank? It wont go anywhere. The Abraham tank holds a 1500hp gas turbine engine which will go 115km/h (over 60 miles/h)without its modulator!!!!! COMEON, the tank in the game appears to run on a moped engine.

Can the US team get an Apachy instead of the cobra??? The 30mm chaingun would be a blast!!!

Last but not least, the overal accuracy on all machine guns and pistols, NO WAY while firing a 30clip full auto in real life any of my bullets will end up 5 yards away from the first.

Other then that I really enjoy this game, but have to keep playing CS to keep my headshots and killingspree up to date!!!! ciao

i know it would be cool for the weapons to be more accurate, or the sniper rifle to do more damage, but they have it the way it is to make things more balanced

yeahh a more accurate sniper rifle or more zoom would be just great... i mean the m24 is pretty accurate but just not enough... sometimes i shoot 100% headshot and they aint death  and that juast sux

they sould make like a thing so that if a tank gets hit in the caterpiller it will not be able to  move untill some 1 repairs it or if it gets hit were the turret connects to the hull the turret will turn slower

The problem with that is where do you stop?  If someone shoots you in the leg, should you fall down?  If someone shoots you in the arm, should you drop your gun?  Should you be able to blow out tires on the HMMWVs, Vodniks, etc.?

They have the Apache Longbow in the expansion pack.  You are correct about the Abrahms, 1500 HP but I think it goes 40 MPH.  The M249 sucks, it's only good for being mounted on stuff, particularly boats, and even then it's not that great.

Yeah... I want more realistic... when I throw a grenade... I'd like to see the other player screen blow up...

When I shoot someone I want electric shock to the other player...

M249 SAW is the real weapon is a modern infantry fighting squad. The automatic rifleman (M249) is the one who kills the enemy. It has a effective firing range of 300+ meters.

The sniper rifles are pathetic at best. I'd like to know what armor stop a 50Cal bullet? OK maybe if I shoot a guy in the back with a pack AND armor..

So lets make the sniper class harder and more realistic all around.

1) Position actualy effects shooting. I can't believe I'm just as accurate stnading up (idiots)

2) You can't run and jump into prone and just fire off a 200 yard shot, your accuracy is effected by recent movment. You would effectivly have to wait a few seconds after running or moving into place before you were deadly accurate.

3) A real backup weapon, what sniper carries a silenced pistol that can't kill a cat as backup? Last time I checked the prefered weapons was actualy a min-14 (223cal), but I would go for a pistol that didn't suck ass!

4) Let me get this straight, I can shoot through bullet proof glass with the 50Cal, but I can't shoot through personal armor? WTF - who thought this made sense.

Making the rest of the class harder would balance out the changing the gun to actualy being effective.

A second rant: The M249 SAW's accuracy is laughable. Some classes are suppose to be over-powering. I love getting caped by a medic after dropping 40 rounds into him from 5 feet away!!!

so if they made all weapons more accurate, it would still be balanced. small arms fire is insignificant when dealing with vehicles, so that doesn't even warrant consideration. i hate the ballistics in this game, they're modeled on a random distribution box like CS, and do not reflect accurate weapons characteristics AT ALL.

If we wanted something like CS, we would've played CS. And do get your spelling correct. It's Abrams, Apache.

if you want an idea of how this game would play if you added realism to the weapons play Day of Defeat or Operation Flashpoint
it wouldn't suit the game as the game is so fast paced
think of how day of defeat is a rifle equals instance incapitation or death
now imagine how much battlefield would suffer from it
It's a fun game damnit not a simulation

Play Armed Assault when it comes out if you want the realism - not battlefield

Its like complaining about the lack of bullet ballistics in Unreal Tournament

I will address these as best as I can.

1) M249 accuracy is fine.  If you've ever fired a real weapon in real life, youll know how hard it is to be accurate.  Now add a heavy vibrating piece of metal firing all those rounds per minute.  If you want better accuracy, go prone while fighting (like most support players do) and zoom in - your accuracy miraculously gets better.

2)Sniper rifles are fine on power.  If you have a weapon with one shot kills then everyone is going to spawn camp and the game will come to a dead halt.

3) You can't do much to the TK system without making it easy for people to abuse.  If you changed it to what I'm thinking youwould like, people would mine any tank they want and TK the person in order to get their vehicle.  The punish system is nice and it works, when people aren't being smacktards.  That isn't EA's fault, it's the players fault, and since they can't control you, I suggest the system stay how it is.

4) If EA gave you points for being skillful, then the new players to the game would have a hell of a time gaining rank because the people with higher points would just go up in rank exponentially faster.  Tank aren't difficult to kill - you need to know their weakspots, and possibly work with a teammate.  If you and a teammate get on 2 sides of a tank and fire Eryx's at the thing - it's done for.  Tanks aren't Gods, unless you don't know how to attack them.

5) Good idea, in theory.  However, this would give Tanks a better range of where they could go, as verse the APC.  I think it's good that it can't get up some steep slopes that the APC might be able to tackle - it keeps the tankers honest.

6) Want an Apache?  See special forces.  By the way, the chaingun sucks - it has almost no splash damage and you need to direct hit infantry to hurt them.

7) Yea, like I said, try firing a weapon in real life.  If you fire of rounds pretty quickly, you're going to look up - recoil on rifles knocks into your shoulder, which nudges you up a bit, throwing your aim off unless you regain a sight picture.  This is one reason why snipers don't fire multiple rounds quickly - they want their shots to count, and they need to regain a sight picture in order to be accurate.  Furthermore, having horrible accuracy is why in ambushes, the MG'ers fire in sprays - the line of bullets makes up for the inaccuracy of the rifle.
