No Sound In my Headphones

so... I started up my PC as usual today, and found out that there was no sound. I opened my X-Fi Volume panel, and it said that there were no audio devices connected to the computer, and did not open. I open iTunes, and the same thing happens.

I turned off my computer, reset my Sound Card (took it out and back in again), and turned it on again.

Now I can open iTunes and my Volume Panel, so it seems that the Soundcard recognizes the my Headphones. Still, no sound. I connect my Speakers... Again, no sound.

Any Idea how I can fix this?

btw, I still can't play a song in iTunes, but I can open it...

When he says cracked he means he got the CD from a friend and he uses someone elses CD Key. I bet 95% of bf2s uses copied versions of windows, and i bet 99% use stolen versions of Vista

A couple or 3 of points...

1. taking the card out and putting it back will not reset it...windows will just allocate the same drivers to it...
2. crazed is about right try re installing the drivers....but remove the old ones first ( leave the card in...
3. Creative have been having driver probs lately .. http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/ for the latest

you running an Nforce 4 board by the way??

I just installed the newest drives.. Didn't work...

Running on a DFI LanParty mobo..

Is there a way to use the onboard sound card instead?

yes, just remove the soundcard.
