I was a bit bored the other day and I decided that I would play some Yahoo games such as pool. So, I make my yahoo acount and clicked on Pool. A page then comes up, yahoo is sponsored by... and above that it says 'click here to continue' so I click the link and my browser closes. The same thing happened on IE as well as firefox. I have the latest versions of both. I don't care much about not playing the game but could this be a virus???
Run your AV while disconnected from the internet. Run adaware after that. Uninstall FF. Reinstall the latest version here http://ie7.com . If it still happens do a system restore to a point prior to the issue.

Make sure you have the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) installed.
