I was out kicking around town the other night and I saw VeNg3nCe^ on the street corner. Thinking we might have a cold beer or 2 over on the waterfront I ambled over his way. I must have really surprised him. As soon as he heard me behind him he whirled around a shot me, DEAD. I was like wtf? He must not have recognized as being from bf2s. Oh well.

Later that night I was up on the hill at North Bridge and saw him across the river. I really wanted to have a few beers with him and maybe pick up a few tips so I stood up and jumped around a little bit to get his attention. I guess that was my mistake, he must have thought I was a bunnyhopper and he was doing his good deed for the day when he shot me.

Fortunately there was a witch doctor around there and he came over gave my old heart a good kick start and I was up and going again. At least for a minute. I turned a corner and there was VeNg3nCe^. He didn't even bat an eye, just shot me dead again. I realized then that the only tips I was going to get from him was from the business end of an assault rifle.

I always thought it would be cool to hang with someone like him but now I don't know. Maybe he was just in a bad mood or maybe he hadn't been laid in a while, or maybe he didn't like the clothes I was wearing, I just don't know. One things for sure though, next time I see him, I'll just turn around and go the other way.

You on the enemy team, correct? (because I don't remember teamkilling the same guy several times in a row) I never pay attention to the enemies names, I just kill them ;-)

I have often noticed that people playing BF2 don't pay much attention to who is actually playing or the chat messages. Back when I was playing CS, there always was a lot of talking and chatting around, just general socializing, you know.

Last time I was lucky enough to run into a fellow bf2s.com member on a public server, I killed him a few times, then he killed me a few times, back and forth. I screamed at him for 15 minutes in the chat ( in a friendly way, mind you ). No response. He left without having said a word to me.

maybe I am always on the wrong servers, but I definitely feel that the community spirit in BF2 isn't that great, at least not compared to CS.

Nevertheless, I am going to keep on saying hello via the chat when I see someone from these forums in a game.

don't worry about it, mike. sometimes even I get so caught up in the game that I forget about other guys on the server. Ping issues aside, I'd love to have a scrim or two with you again.

I think i actually played with you once...there was like mort4u and someone else also in. But nowadays i basically only play on my clan server and thats where you can find me...
