Volume numbers, weird

I thought i was the only one... but there was a guy on the TV just now with the same thing.

When i turn up the volume on anything, it must be in even numbers, with the exception of the number 5... i thought i was mad, but the guy explained exactly what it is

Does anyone else have this?
