-Increasing the time before showing a friendly mine in the road.

Sometimes when you screaming down the road with a whole crew that
little skull & crossbones signal doesn't come up until it's too late.
Would be nice if those little red signals would show up sooner.  Heck,
you can use a sniper rifle and zoom in a team mate and see their nick
from across the map, but can see the friendly mine warning in time.

- Don't allow Harriers to drop bombs when they are slowing down in Reverse.

I've never seen a Harrier in real life pull a 'chopper' move
where it zooms across the map with the afterburner and then
slaps on the 'reverse' to basically slow down to drop HUGE bombs.
Harriers should not be able to drop bombs in REVERSE, only flying
forward.  The splash damage is so great that it takes the pinpoint
precision skill away from dropping bombs at high speed.

- Change sniper primary weapon and detpacks.

Snipers are HORRIBLE at close range.  A pistol cannot compete against ANY
other classes primary weapon.  And the detpack is good for protection from
getting snuck up on.  As a nice change it would be good to:

      Change the snipers unlocked rifle to kill with 1 shot.  Man, you can
      shoot through armored helicopter glass and kill the pilot but it
takes
      two/three shots to kill someone at close range!  What the H?

      Change the sniper detpacks to be magnetic/timed as well.  This would
      allow the sniper to sneak attack enemy ground vehicles.  Nice.

1 totaly agree with you + all explosives should have seperate signs

2 I don't know I don't see that much guys do that and i hardly play the maps with the great bombers

3 the object of sniping is not to be in close quarters but to fire a shot from FAR away.
also if you make a sniper instant kill that would be the new n00btube imagine you suddenly dropping down because a sniper hit you in your leg. i think the sniper rifles are fine the way they are. prehaps they should be some more accurate and less bullet drop but sniping is an art.

ehh and about those detpacks we have claymores to do that job

Elmo, I agree with you completely, but being somewhat of a sniper I have stronger feelings about the third point, which I think is absolutely rediculous. First of all, the pisol is NOT useless. It is extremely effective for a sidearm, and I have taken out all classes with them many times. The only time it doesn't stand a chance is against an assault that knoows how to use the GL, which I am fine with, but you wil never win that fight. Other than that you can take out a lot of people if you know how to use it, it won't be pretty but you can still win.

Second, a one-hit kill sniper rifle would ruin the game, as said before many times. There would be absolutely no skill what so ever, the only thing that could possibly make it worse was if that same rifle was semi-auto. I may not be the best sniper, but I take pride that I can probably out-snipe 70% of the people out there. I have gotten enough kills to satisfy expert sniper on a couple occasions, and ther are many other people out there with the badge, so if we can do it, so can you.

Third, what are you talking about? Snipers have anti=personel claymores, not c4. They cannot be used against vehicles, and should not be used that way. The only thing I might change about them is to have one that is automatically set off and one that you could manually blow, but its not so bad now.

Ouch, guess I touched a nerve there with the 1 shot sniper kill.

Shoot, all I was talking about was at close range (less then 10 feet)
not at 30-100'.

Example, your hunkered down sniping and focused on targets far away
through the scope,  WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN theres a baddy on you and
you still have your rifle out.  Heck, I've even seen guys run right
up to me IN MY SCOPE.

I pull the trigger (cause I got one in the chamber) as they are
emptying a clip into me and I'm dead.

The reload time on the sniper rifle is so poor that it would make a
TERRIBLE 'full time' up close weapon, and that's what the pistol is
for.  Smaller, lighter, fast fire and reload times.

You have to admit, the pistol is good.  But it's not an offensive
weapon.  It's build to save your butt when your trying to protect
yourself not to run around the map going smacktard on everyone.

2. I dont really care about this, slow harriers are easy to hit ...

3. I dont agree. If u wanna give sniper a good short range weapon, then i want a good long range weapon for engineer to match my shotty
The whole idea about sniping is staying at a distance and cover your back with claymores. Plus the silenced pistol is very accurate on medium/close range and SILENCED. Just keep out of sight and u will live.

Headshots are 1 Shot 1 Kill (with the bolt actions)
as are Claymores and our favourite the Knife.
But yes Sniper is well balanced, those with skill excell at the play style, those who lack it suck wiht this class
