......school camp, i just got back after 9 days of hiking, bushwalking, rock climbing, absailing, white water rafting and a whole lot of other boring-gay-tough outdoor activities, there were the fun parts but most of it was a struggle, we had to carry packs with 6 litres of water and enough food to last us 10 days, that was by far my worst school camp ever, what was yours, where did you go, what made it so bad?
See, I used to do that too, but I found it fun. It sure as hell beats sitting in front of a computer all day.
Never went to school camp, I went mountainbiking in the dunes near the beach here. Better then sitting in the middle of nowhere. And now..I got a job as a truckdriver and thats a adventure everyday i drive.
someday you'll grow up and mom wont tell you what to do. as the other said, its better than sitting in fornt oc computer all day longPea....Tear.....Griffen wrote:

true that, in year 5 i went on a camp like that except mine was only 3 days, best 3 days of my life.ThomasMorgan wrote:

Sure as hell beats my last camp. 1 night spent half an hour away from home.
in my opinion sitting infront of a computer is better, yeh, not neccesarily the healthier option, it may seem the easier option but i just enjoy it more than outdoor stuff
Havent been to one since year six.
I used to do army cadets and carry the heaviest pack in the unit and I was the lightest guy in the unit. Annual camp was a bitch when we would carry our packs for 9hours + with maybe a half hour break for lunch. Annual camp is about a week long.
Most fun weekend we ever had is when we abseiled at night into caves in pitch black. It was so deep it took 4 hours to get 8 people out by climbing the wire ladder.
GREAT FUN

but yes, i'd much rather be doing that than sitting in front of my computer all day.
Yes, i agree, however how am i going to benefit from that camp, how could i use those skills in normal life, but yeh, the tougher things in life are the ones you will learn from etc. i think that camp was pointlessPvtStPoK wrote:
