OK, I am total n00b to this game. So I thought I would try the LOW SKILL server, but there seems to be some really good players on there, or I am just plain rubbish!

Anyway, I think there should be a server set up so if you are over a certain rank you cant play on it. This way there would be the less experienced players against each other, instead of the experienced players keep blowing the n00bs apart and getting loads of points.

Are there servers like this already?

Yes and there could be a server where you have to be a certain rank to play...that would shut up all the ppl complaining about n00bs!

I suggested in a similar thread a noob server for people with any of the following:

- Less than 2000 pts
- K/D ratio less than 1
- Spm less than 1

So if your one of the guys who sucks but plays a lot and has like 50,000 pts you can still join in

I didn't know there was such a server.  How do they keep advanced players from logging on?

its not so much a matter of finding them as stumbling unsuspecting into the middle of one.

There is a server where you can only play on if you are under a certain rank. I got banned from it cause my rank is too high so there shouldn't be high ranked players in there. And it was filled with bunny hoppin and toobing too so have fun.

Yeah I was on that server that Adam's talking about and it really sucked. I usually can hold my own against other good players, but everyone on that server seemed to have the same thoughts. Get in rack up crazy scores, I don't think there was a n00b on it.

I went on it to get back into the game after not playing for a couple of weeks.

How would you keep people from playing a second account that has no rank?

Never judge a players skill by the rank they are showing. That Lance Corporal may just be a 2nd Lt on his "full time" account.

I have a 2nd account to practice different things and unlock weapons to try them out since the promotions get fewer and further betwwen.

My advice:

1) Always join a squad - you'll get closer support, can spawn on your SL, medics to revive you, people to resupply you etc.
2) Try some of the unranked servers instead. There is one called "TeamPLayFirst" or "Tactical GAmer" or something, they teach people good tactics and how to work as a team
3) Join a clan - pratice with them on their server.

Tips:
Go prone when you see an enemy, it makes you harder to hit and improves your accuracy in the game. )(Assign the "Prone" key to left-ctrl instead of Z makes it easier to press)
Providing you have time always use the iron sights or scope (Right Click) to aim your weapon this improves your accuracy.
Keep an eye on your minimap for nearby enemies, if the UAV is airborne you can also see which way they are facing.
Communicate with your squad and team mates using the commo-rose and VOIP
Use vehicles if you can - their weapons are more powerful (but don't practise flying on a public server)
Don't rely on the Assault kit - the special ops kit has a good gun, silenced pistol and C4.
Try the diferent kits you may be better off being a support gunner or medic or engineer - you will get teamwork points for helping other and that will improve your score. My Current score of 15000 is 9000 combat, 4000 teamwork and 2000 commander
Practice in Single PLayer

Don't worry if you are getting killed a lot - we were all noobs at this game when we first started
