Who here for shits and giggles always shoots the mingun on the side of the blackhawk just for fun if theres nothing around so many people do this, are you one of them? I used to do it a lot until i realized it attracts j-10's because it shows theres more than one kill in the BH to be claimed...

yupp i do it when im not flying ,but it realy pisses me off when im flying the helo high on the way to the carrier on wake fukkin n00bs
Meh, well, since there's no more splash damage, there's no harm anyway. Also, I can usually find a good Blackhawk pilot, who knows how to hover and create the spawn points over bases and stuff. Besides, the J-10 pilots who I usually play with fire all six of their AA missiles at us, then try to drop the bombs on us, and finally ram us.
I sit it on the ground and kill jeeps and, more interestingly, APC's

I don't shoot it, but I keep the barrel rotating just in case I need to pull off a quick shot. So, in a way, yes.
i keep the barrel rolling for fun

That's all it's good for is making noise and spinning the wheel. Might as well have a go at it before I get blown out the air.
Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
yes because i have a itchy finger
yea i love how they make like 4 passes at 1 BH, but by the time it gets in the red the pilot is the only one left.cowami wrote:

and yes I ALWAYS shoot the BH gun even if nothing is there
I'm srsly thought i was the only one that did that. But i prefer just to keep it rotating for the hell of it, not for a quick shot. Its like a fun mini-game on the way to shore.some_random_panda wrote:

I always keep the barrel rolling... and yes, I have been known to shoot the odd tree or rock... keeps the 'eye in'... that's my excuse anyway...

Yes, yes I do.
As do I. But occasionally it lets of a little burst when I get distracted.some_random_panda wrote:

When I'm piloting the BH and people shoot the guns off at nothing I don't know if I need to take evasive action, or line them up for a shot at something, or whatever. If the BH pilot is paying attention, shooting off the guns will piss him off.
same here haha loollruss)=spetsnaz wrote:

I only shoot if there's something there, generally. Unless I'm bored and feel like chewing up a rock or a spawn point.
I tend to look around using it a lot, though. I like the feeling of power, and feel that spotting things helps the team. Keeping it spinning helps nothing, I've found.

I shot them all the time, but when I'm piloting I get mad at the people for shooting them

Also, I tend to be the one piloting the Blackhawk. When I play Wake or Oman or something, I'll see people just standing around, waiting for the Cobra or F-35 or something. The moment I get in and fire it up, people jump in and say "Let's move!" Of course, considering most of my Blackhawk trips are one-way, I make them pay for their ignorance.
I love tards who don't know what the words "Bail out!" mean.

I dont shoot it all the way, i just click enough so the barrel spins and nothing comes out
It's not like you could hit any targets with it anyway.
