i was wondering if ddr2 667 is supported by nforce 680i mobos?
i tihnk they support 667 and 800
you sure? i want to know absolutely, because i am thinking of buying that
If the board supports DDR2 800 it will be downward compatible with 667.
Give us a link to the motherboard you are looking at. Sometimes motherboards balk at RAM that's too slow.

It would probably work then with the RAM you have, but if you have stability problems I would recommend getting more RAM that's DDR2 800.
