Why the fuck should the rest of the ME fund infrastructure in Gaza when it's an Israeli jurisdiction?  It's Israel's responsibility to ensure basic amenities.

Think of it like protestants and catholics.
Outside of Northern Ireland (where religion was just an excuse for a territorial debate), Protestants and Catholics aren't killing each other. At least, not for the same reason Sunnis and Shi'ias are.

The best description I have heard for the Sunni/Shi'ia split is comparing it to Protestants killing Catholics over the inclusion of the Apocrypha in the Bible.
