I searched... found no info on release dates of the next patch (1.2)....
but as I was searching on google, I found these forums and this guys posted this link to a supposed download for the 1.2 patch.

Would anyone like to try it out and see if its the 1.2 patch?

@ TriggerHappy998 when i went to install it, it said welcome to the battlefield 2 1.01 patch.
