hi guys, i just bought a widescreen monitor and i can't get 2142 to run in the native res. my card is a 7900gs so it shouldn't be a problem. i tried modifying the target to +szy 1440 etc or whatever it is but no luck...it looks all stretched out of shape like the EA logo is an oval not i circle. anyway can anyone help please!!
There is NO widescreen support in Battlefield 2142...
Either you will have to live with the strechy thing, or you will have to live with a black bar at each side of the screen,,,
personally my LG 4:3 2ms 19" TFT won't run 1280x1024 but only 1280x960 for some reason,, i can live with it though....
The resolutions in 2142 is locked to the 4:3 screensize....
One of the reasons DICE gave for this is that it would be more fair if all players had the same view-angle, rather than widescreen users having an unfair advantage....

i get no black bar, just stretch the whole way. even at 1280/1024?? which is 4:3 isn't it so why dont they support that res either...
