Do I have to feed it? Can I just air drop a cow once a week or should I order pizza delivery? Either way I bet it would get a big bang. I wonder it they would send me pictures of my mine field as it grows and changes like the kid commercials you see of TV. I hope mine sends me letters telling me how great I am and how my money has made his world a better place.
Cool, I've always wanted a minefield.
I wonder if they can ship it over here...

This is a little off topic but in Africa, they use animals to clear minefields. They let them run around and BOOM!
Its cruel.

Most mines are triggered by weight or a booby trap system. It seems like they really wouldn't be that hard to clear IMO just get a big stick..
Umm... its $25,000...
...I'll take two.

Yeah, but how do you KNOW you've got them all? Could be wandering around happily after the sheep, then BLAM! No more leg, foot lodged in your groin, shrapnel everywhere.cpt.fass1 wrote:

The only real way is to use a brute-force method (such as the rocket-propelled rubber hose filled with plastic explosive or the obsolete tank with a roller on the front driven by remote control), followed up by extremely highly-paid men with sticks and trowels to probe the ground inch by inch and dig up mines.
However, if the mined area is sparsely populated and the mines could be anywhere, you just put sheep on it. Cheaper than cows, too dumb to really know about mines, and squishy enough so that they don't suffer much if blown up. That's what we did on the Falklands, after picking up our own mines. The Argies had just dumped them en masse in an airdrop, so the fields were signed and sheeped.
