I live in Central Texas (Copperas Cove) and it was flooding, hailing, lightning, and everything else. I saw a tornado touch down not to far away, it went back up, but it scared the crap out of me. We're still under flood warning, tornado warning, and it flooded my whole yard. Our pool almost went over, but we drained before it could. I'd say the winds were 30+ MPH. There were some wrecks and what not. Me and my sister were driving home from school and the view distance in front of us was like maybe five feet. Our house started leaking from all of the wind and the side of my house looked like a pond, not a little puddle, but the whole side of my house flooded, that's a first for the eight years we've lived here. It was like it would never stop. We watched the weather channel for a couple hours, telling us to find shelter and stuff, luckily there weren't any tornadoes close to our area. Me and my mom went to the side of the house and started sweeping the water out of our yard, it took forever. We opened the fence we have in our backyard and let all of the water flow out. It was a pretty crazy day and it's still not over. So, how was your day?

Sweet. I absolutely LOVE storms like that but in Northern Ireland I've never seen a tornado. 30MPH is nothing, I'm sure it was more than that. Occasionally, we get some crazy rain and wind here. Which is fun, while it lasts.

Come to Arizona. Rain here is pretty much nonexistent.
