Alright so I am at about 6300 points and my next two unlocks will come at 8000. Now, if I get to 8000 prior to the patch, and I select to "Choose Later" on my unlocks, do you guys think that I loose them when I upgrade to the new patch? Or should I wait to get promoted in this account until then next patch is released?
It's probably the same method as with SF, if your now a Staff Sergeant, so that means you unlocked 2 weapons when your played SF (one at Sergeant, and one at Staff Sergeant). I think Dice and EA will do it like this again...
I can see no reason why u would loose ur unlocks just cos u patch ur game |2eeper. I'd say if ur interested in the new sniper or AT unlocks, wait for the new patch.
What kind of weapon is the new AT unlock gonna be?

The New Anti-Tank Unlock is the P90 its weapon statistics are similr to that of the PP19 (MEC Anti-Tank SMG)

Where'd u get that info? Not saying ur wrong, but I thought the P90 was for the new European forces? What's the point in having the new AT unlock the same as the new team's original weapon? Personally I'm more interested in what the new sniper unlock will be.
It will probably be just like SF.. You only get the weapon with which team you are on on, but then in regular bf2 you can unlock them...

mmm, nice, as long as EA/Dice don't screw it up like with the M-95.
And no, "Battlefield 2 - Euro Forces" is adding a new army to vanilla BF2. It's not so much an expansion pack in terms of how SF was, more as EA/Dice stated, it's a booster pack, adding content to vanilla BF2. So why they would then make the new unlocks the same as the new armies normal weapons is beyond me.

And I bet Dice is going to try to make the game more like CS by making it a 1 shot kill weapon, even in the foot.
What in heaven's name makes you associate DICE with Valve?! There are barely ANY one shot kill weapons in BF2, and they all have relatively low radii (except artillery, bombs, and the Mi-28's cannon)

I say this I think you will get the 2 new ones like this they will bump it up to 2 unlocks per rank starting from lance corp so you end up with all weapons by Sargent Major

Barret's rifle page.
Barret is not the only company to make 50 cal sniper rifles. but are by far the best and most wel known.
Accuracy wise there is no difference between the m95 or the m82A1 the difference is basically weight and fire mode. (thought they are designed differently as well.)
I'm pretty sure the reason dise went with the m95 over the m82A1 is because then they would either have to lower the damage or the accuracy to keep the weapon balanced. As is they lowered the damage in my mind since a 50 cal round to the chest should drop a man.
I have fired the m82, m95, and the m106 personally in in terms of accuracy i didn't notice a difference at the ranges i was firing at (350-1200 meters)
