Quick lag question...

Okay, I'm running an 8800 GTS graphics... with an AMD X2 @ 2.4Ghz Each 2 Gigs of memory, 3 gbs/second hard drive... Can someone explain to me why I'm lagging in the titan...? I'm running all high 1600 x 1200... But it's only in the titan when I lag... Bf2 doesn't lag either...

Is it the servers?

Also, Northern Strike likes to lag no matter what? Or is it just me?

hmmm, what FPS do you get in titan?
Try different servers.
how much AA you got on?
i really dont think you should be lagin with that setup.
experiment with graphics settings, lower them and see if you still lag.

Everything is maxed out... AA is about 6x I think? It won't go to 8x... i get Zero lag on conquest servers... Very little lag outside of titan in Titan mode... but in the titan on a 48 - 64 person server, gets way unbearable... I'll troubleshoot...

what version do you have? The 640mb or the 320mb. If 320 you can only do 1280x1024 max without problems.

320; the 640 isn't as good for that the speeds are slower... But it always seems like in the titans it lags for any res

titan always lags. Even with a good ping and decent fps (80ish) i will lag on my main rig, on my lappy it's even worse

Alright, wasn't sure. It's rather annoying... So that's why i refrain from titan as much as I can... Lag really ruins the game play... Is it the servers computers that aren't fast enough? Or ours? Or both?

seeing as my CPU & Mem are not maxed out while playing and I get decent framerates, it has to be a server or server communication problem. Or just bad coding
