I am interested in this and just want to know what your Usersettings.con are and how well they work for you. I have been experimenting and they all seem to work well, but not fabulous. Like interpolation and extrapolation.

Edit: or if you dont mess with them at all...

lol, ok nobody really got the point of this thread. If you have changed any settings in this usersettings.con, then what did you change them too? I know, sportsman those are the origional settings, some people change them to make their hit reg better.

Just those 2, if i leave them stock my hit reg is fucking awful, with those settings it's near perfect.

Alright. Im confused on what the diff between interpol time of 40 and interpol time of 400. Does it make a difference to anybody. Because from what i hear and think wouldnt 400 make it worse?

Well after uninstalling Bf2 while I played 2142, I came back to BF2 and re-installed, obviously all the settings reset to stock. Couldn't hit a barn with a hammer, so I changed my settings to what they are there 0.04000 as my ping is usually 20-40, I've had interpolation time set at everything from 50 - 400, 400 seems to work better than 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300 and 350, apparently if your pings are shit a lower time works better, I don't know as I don't play if I have a bad ping on a server... Take from it what you will, it's never going to be the same on any 2 PCs, just fuck around with it til you start consistently hitting stuff, at long ranges i.e. 150m minimum, leading people running horizontally to you.
