Commanding badge - help please

I need help getting my bronze command badge, i need 40 command points IAR.

Now what I actually mean when I say this, is that I need the address of a server which is setup correctly to allow me to get this badge, rather than any tips on commanding.

I think im quite a good commander without boasting at all, fast to give good squads what they want and at the same time keep all the command utilities alive, the problem is the score doesn't seem to rely on these things, rather it relys on your teams average score (from what I read)

So to get over 40 command points in one round, I need a server which is going to let the average person get a higher score, or rather I need a server which will have a long round time, with extra tickets or something.

Is there ANYTHING at all a commander can do to up his own command score to get this badge, because seriously I have all the qualifications i need to get the SILVER command badge except i just need the bronze one first...

There is nothing u can do as a commander to boost your own score - it is just the average of your team.

The easiest way to get the badge is to find a 64 player server without a time limit and with ony about 20-30 players. That way flags will change hands reguarlly (as there is not enough people to defend them) and this leads to high scores. Also, every1 can get lots of kills as there should be 300 tickets for each team and to get rid of all of these with only 20 people can take up to an hour in my experience.

You can always try to find a noob server. Be commander and command and run around capping flags. If you are on when its like 2 or 3 in the morning it happens that way. Thats how i got mine. As long as u still command then ur score will double. It works trust me.

So your own flag caps count towards command score when you're commander?

I've still had no luck, played as commander for Karkand 64 player, 32 player, SF maps 64 and 32

I just cannot seem to find a server or combination of ANYTHING that will allow for high scores

You've gotta laugh at the system they dreamed up though, lets break it down.

As commander you get more points for a higher average team score, this means...

Encourage a long map time, best way to do this is to make sure the tickets are almost even all the time, so basically give orders to camp and not bothering to attack undefended flags.

No arty what so ever, this gives you kills but does not count towards command score, bringing the enemys tickets down which could be spent on your team mates score.

In fact I cant think of one good reason to make the commanders score an average of the players score, it makes no sense, I hope to god this is addressed at some point.

But when you bring up your command interface (caps lock), theres a number in the top left area. This is your commander score, right?

Just go on 16 - 32 players server in a map as big as 64 players, round take forever, I got myself 112 Commander points ( before X2 ) on karkand on such server I had like 225 Points with X2 ( don't ask how I had exactly 225, strange everything multiplied by 2 should be possible to devide by 2, I think it multiplies the exact score and then rounds it ).

I got my bronze command badge and have everything but a 25 min round towards my silver now, it was a lucky match on a server I regular, it crashes a lot and when everyone was kicked the round started, I grabbed commander and it took the whole round to get everyone back in. It also happens a few clan guys where hovering around in a black hawk causing mayhem and getting massive scores.

It's really very stupid that you need such idiotic conditions and such luck to get a command score which should be earnt like the rest of the badges.

Alot of the badges require idiotic conditions as well. The war college badge, for example, is almost impossible to get (though im still hoping). If i remember correctly, its only been awarded 200 or so times, out of the almost 1 million ranked battlefield 2 players.

Try this. On Wake Island map, go Chinese, go commander, get a plane, and spawn kill the USMC on the carrier. 40 points, coming right up.

Or you can just command a good team. Tell me when you find one.

I have my Expert commander badge, I think I can help. Play on a ~40 player server with 64 player maps. Thats how I got my commander badges and ribbon. Take it from the Birdman.......the expert!

This badge i had alot of fun trying to get, i would always last 24 minutes or so before the round would end or the munity vote would kick in (XD i suck, i know, lol) But i go to a server on a regular bases called *vibe* Clan Ranked er somthing like that, its based in Quebec, Canada. They play size 64 maps but only have a max of 32 players on the server, because thats all that is allowed, i just sat on an aa gun and near the end of the round i got BOTH the basic command and Vet command badges and the basic AA badge Hope this helps everyone

I got mine on karland 32P, just use lots of arty anf command all your squads and it is possible.
