i really forgot about life outside of bf2 isn't that sad lol im only 13 i mean should be going to the mall hanging with my friend but everytime i try to take a break it gets worse
Quit the game, like I did (I came back after a few days, but it allowed me to clear my head and focus a little more on RL.)
hmm that sounds good
wow, i thought i was the only one =/
...Why is this in "Other Titles"...?
Meh, I barely play anymore, so I don't have to deal with this. Good luck, though~ :-P

hmm. theres no way to have an addiction to a game, i spend a lot of time on the computer in general, too much, but if the chance arises where someone wants to hang out, then hell with the computer, its just that chance doesnt arise as much as ide like it to, so by default im on the comp.
15 more years! 15 more years!
My friends never call me to hang out, so why should I ask them?
I like my computer.
I like my computer.
yea, i used to be addicted to BF2 like you. sometimes, if my friends would call to see if i wanted to out while i was playing BF2, i would make up ex uses and say i couldnt go out. and even when i was hanging out with my friends, i would say i had to leave at 5 instead of 8, just cause i wanted to play more BF2. i even STRUCTURED my days around playing BF2. it was pretty sad.
but here i am, only a few months later, and im perfectly normal now. i go out almost every single day with my friends, and only play BF2 PR when i have free time before bed or when im not allowed to go out
long story short, dont worry. even if you are obsessed with it, it wont last very long
*tip* to stop playing, join a really noob-filled 24/7 no vehicles a Karkand server, and play on it for a few hours. trust me, you will get so mad and aggravated that you wont want to play BF2 for a while

My computers my friends. I've named EVERY SINGLE one of my gigabites. (Larry's my favorite though.) I'm jk. Get a life, not gigabytes.
One time I was so obsessed with BF2 that I didnt go somewhere because I was getting promoted to Gunny. But after going to Europe for 6 weeks a while ago Ive kinda got a bit over it. But now I have a good computer, I pwn heaps of people everyday.
noice
Is it coming to PC? I couldn't find anything on GameSpot
My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.
Do like I did; buy a motorcycle.
im 13..... lol
That's what started it for me right there. Lost contact with friends, and didn't decide to get new ones. The computer is now my best friend. It doesn't argue with me, it always agrees with me and BF2 is cool. Same thing with the girlfriend issue, I'm not well on the financial side, I don't need a thing that always argues with me, never agrees with me and thinks that BF2 is not cool... AND always wants something from the mall or some materialistic junk. But my job supplies me with enough female doze per day. ;DRyan wrote:

BTW, I only play BF2 on weekends.
Tell that to all the cybernerds pumping cash into titles like World of Warcraft. You can become as addicted to something simple as the brain chemicals produced by certain emotions, and thus to the emotion itself. It stands to reason that the multitude of attainable goals in a video game can generate a rush of virtual accomplishment that can be just as easily addicting. But different folks have different tolerance levels.Dezerteagal5 wrote:

Reaper: In my non-professional opinion, the best solution for the hopeless addict when it comes to putting games down is uninstalling them and sticking all physical media related to them in a storage bin. Out of sight, out of mind, and no more unconscious mouse movements towards shiny pretty game icons. In the meantime, find more useful physical and mental tasks to occupy your free time and still get your 'accomplishment rush.' But you've played 200 hours since last January. A buddy of mine played 500 hours since last September...and he's playing right now. I don't think you've got the bug all that bad.
If life isn't worthy of 'Other Titles,' then nothing is. Not even Crysis.T1g3r217 wrote:

wait until you get a job, pay for school, supporting yourself ect, ect.
Responsibility is more important than BF2.
Though it is nice to escape from it once and a while by playing mindlessly on video games.
