You don't cost your team points by tripping them. It's good for the team, just not for the player. If I'm and engineer (a kit I hate btw), I will remove any claymore I see and can get to. If a single claymore would have killed a teamate or even just hindered movement of a squad for a few seconds, my removing it has benefited the team.

hey man i kno what ya mean, but a game without claymores let alone snipers isnt a propper game, i love sniperin its all i do, that and anti tank, occasionally i leave behind me so pricks dont come up and knife me.

Yes the use of claymores when sniping on a hill and you dont want to be knifed is fair enough but not being a noob and putting on the flag...

I don't see anything wrong with any of the above tactics. Defend a flag with whatever means you have, save for haxs. Same as nading a flag before moving in.R0lyP0ly wrote:

If John Wayne and his Green Berets can use claymores to "hold a flag", why can't we? Likewise, in real life, artillery and armor are used to soften up a "flag" before ground troops move in.

I don't think snipers are low lifes, you need different kits for different situtations, like noob tubers. We need certian kits to make certian awards why be pissed off at those who need to accomplish things. Search how to avoid claymores?
