i need one that isnt WMM, Sony Vegas, or Adobe premier.

WMM is too simple, vegas is too hard, premier is no where to be found, and i need one.

I really didn't think Vegas was too hard after about 2 hours of using it, and if you thought that was hard have fun with premiere. Were you having trouble with anything specific?

I have seen people go so far as to post CD keys lately.

As for the topic Des.Kmal Pinnacle is very easy to use. All editors have a slight learning curve of course.

I have Adobe Premiere.

Its way easy to use then Vegas..

Its a lot like WMM but with a lot more abilities.

If you only need to cut up a single file, or join a bunch of files you can use cheaper stuff like Intervideo's DVD Creator or Cyberlink's Power Producer. But if you want professional quality effects and transitions you'll need something like Premiere or Avid. Haven't used Sony's offering so I can't comment on it but I've used Premiere for a long time.

I'm not too impressed with Premiere Pro though. They use DirectX to render primarily and that is just riddled with bugs. It doesn't seem anywhere near as stable as the older versions. Premiere 6.5 owns all PC non-linear editors imo.

Premiere for the win. Im actually going to school for film (well, was...since changed my major to illustration). Anyway, Ive used most all the programs listed and premiere is the way to go if you can find it. people who dont like it are most likely unaware of it capabilities especially when paired with after effects.
