Re-kindled love for the G3

Has this thing been adjusted? It was a long time since I've used this bad boy of the battlefield, but it all changed last night. I dusted it off, and headed to the streets of a 32player IO Warlord server. It seemed that everything was falling to this gun. I'm a "burst shooter" and I couldn't believe the amount of ownage that was going on. Downing snipers on the TV station roof while laying on the roof near the insurgent hideout, taking down ememy guys 3 at a time. and the palace(HOLY CHIT), this thing was moping up the kills. I had 3 consecutive rounds of 35 kills or better with this kit.

I'll be playing assault a bit more often with this meat grinder. The key for all of you that try this thing is to keep the bursts short. 3-4 shots, pause, and re-enguage. Also, don't forget those flashbangs. It aided in clearing a bunch of guys out as well. AWESOME WEAPON!

It's a good weapon. Try to use it without iron sights (zooming in) and fire single shots or 2 at a time in auto mode and you will see things fall alot quicker.

There are no flashbangs included with the G3. Only with the FN2000. I don't use it a lot maybe I should use it again though I think the AK and M16 are already very good..

If you play on SF you get flashbangs with the G3.

As stated in my first post, I was playing Warlord(Special Forces). Flashbangs are included in the kit.

Yeah, I like it, too. It does a lot of damage and can drop troops quicker than some of the other rifles. If that thing had more than 20 rounds per clip, the assault kit might be unstoppable. I am sure it's my spray-and-pray mentality. When I relax the gun really works. It would also be interesting to make that one with a scope like the SCAR. One can dream.

I have dreamed the same, but a scoped G3 would result in a chorus of whining from the unlock haters.

I was a big fan of the G3 as well and still am but I think the F2000 in single shot is better. Cheap kills.

Hmm I should try it. I thought it was just another crappy unlock as the FN2000 I didn't really liked that weapon the scope sucked in my opinion..

Short bursts, slow your rate of fire, and use that zoom. It'll change your feelings. Just make sure that your target is above the tip of the iron sight in zoom. Since the first and last shot are the most effective, the two shot burst is the ticket.

Its strange you make this topic, because I just started using it alot again too. It was probably my first unlock, and I used it for a while,, but then I got tired of the small clip.

I started doing this and with how powerful it is the clip lasts long enough (2-3 kills). That mixed with aiming for the head a lot more and Ive had a lot of fun with this thing.

The assault's smoke can actually be useful at times too, Its actually pretty good for escaping choppers/tanks or crossing areas under fire.

I just am not really into the F2000, I use it from time to time, and will probably use it more today after reading some one mention it, but I think I prefer to have a definite point at the center (the tip of the iron sight) rather then just arrows pointing to it.

/uninstall please, the G3 is the most common FUCK1NG NOOB gun becides the G36E every time i get killed by the G3 i fuck!ng curse.... so what i am saying is the G3 might be good to you, but to be it is a fuck!ng piece of shit gun.

No doubt! I don't understand all the unlock haters. It is supposed to be a reward for all the 'hard work'.

It would be cool if the unlocks were upgrades like scopes or lower recoil. I mean you can do it in real life so why not in virtual world? But that would bring more whining. Good topic.
