1942 had manned artillery and ship battles. Vietnam has awesome jungles and loudspeakers. 2 has...well...stats and Karkand. Skipped 2142, so can't say much there.DeathUnlimited wrote:

I voted Vietnam because some of the best times I've had were spontaneously shooting heads through the trees with the M14, it still had manned artillery, the helicopters were cool (and had mobile helipads) and jet fights still took skill. And there were multiple skin selections per class.
It barely won out over 1942 in my estimation, but only that close because 1942 had what no subsequent Battlefield has: mobile ships (sorry 21's, Titans don't count).

Not as great as parking a battleship on the border corner of Midway and shelling the bejeezus out of the Japs with the help of a buddy's forward binocs. With a ship parked that far out, you'll have it all to yourself. Sight in both fore and aft turrets, and you're all set. I prefer that kind of personalized artillery over the lame Battlefield 2 equivalents.KEN-JENNINGS wrote:
