best book ever? I don't read much, but from the moment I started reading it - just wow. Along with the "his dark materials" trilogy, Dune is the only book I've ever really been interested in. It's mind boggling, imo. anyone here read it? I just finished the first 3 books (like LoTR - 3 in 1)

i've read em. good books very interesting and compelling. the movie they made was ok, havent seen it in awhile.

2) Jasper Fford (no spelling mistake)

The 2 mini series were much better than Lynch's movie. At least, they were a real adaptation of the 3 first books.
