I wouldn't risk it, I would get a 500+ power supply.

Depends on how decent a power supply you want, lol. Honestly, 400w is just riding the line. You might be fine, maybe not.

Get at least a 450w.

There is a lot of cheap unbranded 500+ power supply's, but what I have heard its always best to go with a branded one.

My mate told me that a 500 watt Branded would work a lot better than a 700 watt unbranded one.

The Branded ones just supply the power better and not in one big lump like the unbranded.

Hope this helps and good luck in your purchase.

It'll work, it just has PCI-e connectors, like most new PSUs do.

Your card will use one of the 4 pin molex connectors labeled in the top right of the pic. The PCi-e connectors can just be tucked out of the way.

The 400W will run fine but if u want to add anything extra to your comp or over clock u will need at least 450W

Not going to be over clocking at all, or adding.

400 should run it fine depending on what else you have running on it

Try it with the 400 and you might save yourself 50+ bucks. If you get random blue screens, new psu time. But make sure you clean your old drivers off first if they weren't nvidia

What else are you running in your box? How may HDs, CD/DVD drives, do you have a sound card etc. At the end of the day, better to have more power than you need, so i would go 500.

You'll be fine with 400W.

Everyone is always trying to get people to buy bigger PSUs than they need, which for most people is a total waste of money.

I'm sorry, but don't listen to these people okay?

When they say minimum of 300W, they mean a proper 300W. A popular brand 300W true-performing one. That PSU is by a company no one has ever heard of, and is very cheap. In reality, it probably only runs at 200W.

Get a trustworthy brand PSU.

Well, your not running that much power sucking hardware but, if in the future you decided to buy a couple of big 750 HDs etc. Then the cost difference between a 450 and 500 is not that much, so going for the "branded" 500 would be to my mind (warped as it is), the way to go.
