EA being customer friendly, or totally retarded?!

EA have released info about Command & Conquer 3, their latest RTS title, being available to buy on standard 1.44MB IBM Formatted floppy disks.
The project came about, so it is said, when developers at EA received an angry mail from one customer who was upset that there was no version on floppy disk.
EA decided to oblige and prepared an $800 floppy disk edition with 2.1GB spread over 1,407 floppy disks.
You can't buy this in the shops as only 50 have been made, but its expected that all copies will sell due to the novelty of the item.
"It's a collectors item" claims Mandy Simmons from EA "There aren't many people who can say they own this amazing game in a format like this".
You can order the floppy disk edition of C&C:3 direct from their website at www.eagames.co.uk. We will have one of the 50 copies of the game in this format at our i30 LAN event raffle. Will you be lucky enough to win one?
