LOL I can't believe you threw it away. Yes, ministrone is often spicy. Yes, it would most probably have been fine to eat it. Dried packet foods last like for ever - the food companies only put 'best before' dates on to stop someone from suing them. And note they are 'best before' not 'use before' dates - there is a difference - 'best before' means it's non-perishable and 'use before' means it's perishable.
can that stuff even go bad? i know they can get kind of chewy but other then that :\
