Could I play a 64player server with 20-25 players in it with a system that runs:

1.5GHz
512MB RAM
aTiRadeon 9200 Pro
And all settings on Low and Off

I would like to try that, cuz i heard you can get big points and the rounds last forever, and gives u great chances of getting awards.

And I thought my pc wos OLD, lol. As for your question I'm not sure. If the 64 player server fills up your game will definitely lag. With 20-25 players I'm not so sure cos I never bothered to notice when I wos on 512MB. Why don't you just try it out? There's no harm in trying as no damage to your pc will be caused. Your eyesight may be messed up from the experience, lol, but certainly not your pc. If it's too laggy then just disconnect. Simple!

I have an even more shittier system than yours I play on servers with 64player server with 20-25 players with no lag or problems. Only when the server starts to fill up, that's when it starts to get a bit laggy, especially at the front line where there is a battle for one flag. Thats when I usually hang back and just revive and heal, snipe or go AT taking out the enemy armor from a distance.

My shitty system:

1.0GHz
640MB RAM
Geforce 5200 fx
And all settings on Low and Off

wow 1GHz thats bad lol. u have more RAM than me, so that might cause less lag.

i think you would play fine with 512MB RAM, and with maybe a little lag under those circumstances you described but get more GHz if it gets bad

1GB memory is minimum in BF2, otherwise it starts to lag at bigger maps. More than 1GB on the other side is not such a big difference, I upgraded from 1GB to 1,5GB but didn't see any change. I could perhaps increase quality of the textures and such but then my graphics card can't keep up enymore.

agreed, 1 gig minimum. with that system you will longer load then the map runs...

besides that: I didnt want to become personal. And a question is never stupid. But a more detailed headline would be nice next time
