The GR system for BF2 isn't really a very good measure of the top players, simply of who's been playing the most. Look at the hours most of the top players have put in. I mean I'm trying to get fairly highly ranked with Spec Ops and with the carbine (currently like only top 7000 n 3000 respectively, roughly), n I checked the scores for the top 20 today, and looked at like #8 I think it was, did some calculations, n relative to time spent playing, I'd acctually have more points then him if I'd been playing for as long. So yeh, mainly comes down to time spent playing, but of course there are a number of those tops boys who are just plain dam good .
