I played all maps for the Far east service ribbon and the middle east service ribbon, but I have not recieved the ribbons. Check my profile Umbrae|Oxide ...Why have I not recieved the ribbons? Help me? (A)
Perhaps on those maps you only played as USA and not MEC/PLA?
I was told that EF glitches it, that's why I haven't got my ME service ribbon, but he doesn't appear to have EF. Try replaying all the maps as MEC, see if that works.
Maybe theres a global time requirement on it 25h or 50h just keep playing now

Most likely: You haven't played the required number of hours in that theater. This used to be a requirement, but I'm not sure if it still exists as a requirement since I can't seem to find anyone saying that it is a requirement
Another possibility: Assuming that the hour requirements were eliminated with the 1.3 patch. This may sound strange, but you might need to play a "complete" round on Operation Clean Sweep (Mid East Ribbon) and FuShe Pass (Far East Ribbon). Your stats indicate that you have never played a complete round on either of these two maps (just partial rounds, or you exited before the round was complete) and as a result BF2Player.com indicates that you don't yet qualify for the ribbons until you complete a round on these two maps.
Keep playing ... you'll get them!

I also strongly believe that there are actually still global time requirements associated with those ribbons. Given the fact that you have limited number of hours for MEC / PLA, that seems the logical conclusion.
If I remember correctly ( and a look at my stats would indicate I do ), the time requirement used to be 50 hours. No one really knows if that is still the case, but maybe we can find someone who has it but who doesn't have 50 hours.

I also had problems with both of the service ribbons.I have had played on all the maps at least 1 hour..i had more then 4 hour on all the maps.My stats showed that i played on all mapsa but i still dont recived them.
I was waiting and i posted my problem somewhere else and i discussed it with my friends but nobody really could tell me the solution.After some time I checked my stats and i saw that i got both of the ribbons...i checked also BFHQ and both ribbons were recived on that day after each other...but i did not played that day.
I dont even had them pop-up during the game like other ribbons.So its still a mistery for me

Don't know if this will help at all but it might clear things up. I got mid east service at 25h with over 10h in theater and over 10h in army. According to Brakiss you only need 5h in an army. But I have over 5h as PLA as well and haven't gotten far east. However I do have only 7 hours in the PLA theater. So one could conclude that for the mid and far east service ribbons you need:
25h global
10h in theater
5h in army
I'm not sure about playing all the maps, but that seems to be the consensus. But a win is not necessary as I haven't won a game at Operation Clean Sweep. Hope this helps sort thigs out.

I agree that it is most likely a combination of global, theater and army time. If that is the best we can say at the moment, my advice would be the same as everypne else's:
Play on, you'll get it eventually.
Play the game for fun and pick up the awards/badges/ribbons that come with that along the way, I say.
