Another question about IRC

Well, last time I tried XChat, and it didn't work. This time, I downloaded Trillian. When I attempted to connect to the Gamesurge server, it gives me this : "Error Code: 10053". Anyone know how to fix this?

I would, but it's only a 30-day trial and I'd rather not pay. Oh well, better than nothing.

Try another port. Also, make sure Trillian isn't running when you are using mIRC, XChat etc.

Just cause it says it has a 30 day trial doesnt mean you can keep using it..
mine expired and i still use it fine- talking about mIRC

I completely uninstalled the other programs, so I don't know. I figure it's something to do with my firewall.

Get Chatzilla, which is a Firefox extention. That _may_ solve your problem.

Check your firewall/proxy settings and enable ports for IRC to connect in your antivirus software.
