Just a thought, if the Anti Tank kit is designed for what it says (killing tanks, etc.) wouldnt it make sense for the kit to carry anti vehicle mines? Sure, the rocket launcher is great, but it leaves a bit to be desired as far as stealth goes. Having the AT kit carry AT mines would mean that engineers can concentrate on repairing friendlies, rather than moving into an exposed area to plant mines.

It was just something that struck me as odd from when i first played the game. Comments, Flames, whatever. Just get your opinions in.

yeah makes sense, also engineers should get more points for repair cause they get jacked when it comes to special ability points

I remember that in Desert Combat, anti-tank kit had an AT rocket launcher, a shoulder-fire AA missile launcher (quite unusable) and AT mines. I don't think Dice will trade mines from engineer to AT kit, but AT kit lacks something very useful in real-life anti-armor combat : smoke grenades. Since stealth is a part of AT job, why they haven't them ? example : you throw a smoke in front of an enemy tank, then you shoot it and due to smoke he can't see where the shot comes from.

it would be nice if you get 2 team point for taking down an occupied armor vehicle and you get damage assist even for 25% damage on a tank. Don't you hate it when you killed a tank and get only 2 points while the guy that was in it got 40 or when you hit an apc and some other anti-tank finishes the apc and you get nothing when you obviously help alot.

ps the tracker should be longer on rocketlaucher such that when a heli is spwn campin like pussy you can actually shoot it

No i think i'd be to cheap they already got a rocket launcher and now there gonna have mines? The enginer has crappy weapons so the mines of for him are needed if you give AT mines then give enginer a better primary weapon.

The shotgun does tons of damage, but it is very inaccurate when prone because the bullets hit the ground. So quit it guys with the shotgun thing.

Smoke nades would be Very useful for AT.  The AT Smoke nades should be better then Assualt like the Tear Gas for Support on SF.     Not Like EA going to do anything anyway...O well

the dudes holding a rocket launcher with 5 shells. he doesnt need mines.
thats like saying the eng kit need a screw driver to repair broken weapons. its just not necessary......

No mines no AA missiles!!!  But I like the idea that the kit include smoke or flash grenades, or both.

Maybe the AT gunner can carry a laser designator to guide some air launched AT missiles....
