I deleted 2 things on Firefox, the "Getting Started" Button, and the "Get the Latest Media" button, or whatever its called. and when I deleted them.  Firefox began to make the web page bob up and down.  Ive reinstalled and restarted my computer.

no, its a vista-themed style pack for windows xp, but i assume that you don't have it, as you don't know what it is...

have you tried:

using IE tabs for FF?

using IE?

restoring the 2 buttons you deleted?

also, you might want to try a re-install of FF.

I've also deleted it completely off from program files incase its saving anything but when i reinstall and restart and all that the settings are the same. Im lost

Get a program called CCleaner. When you delete FFox from the programs folder, run CCleaner's files scan and its registry scan. It might find settings left behind.
