Okay, so if you've been in the market for new ram, here you go. I just bought another kit today.

I love this ram and 2 GBs has treated me well, but I think I'll need 4 GB for the step up to vista.

For 149, you really can't go wrong.

I know that you aren't supposed to advertise or anything, but I'm gaining nothing from it and this is a really good deal.

EDIT: It's now 99 dollars for 2 gbs of really good ram... you could get 4 Gbs of quality ram from Patriot for the same price that you could get 2 Gbs of ram from most of the others...

I'll wait for DDR3. I made the mistake of buying DDR1 when they were going to release DDR2. That is the main reason for delaying my C2D cpu and ddr2 mobo upgrade. second reason is that I'll wait for C2D E6850 and those PSUs which have proper 8-pin pci-e connectors (in case u haven't heard they changed the connectors only couple months ago so some of the older 8-pins are teh FAIL. I'll post a topic about this soon...)

sorry to bring this up again... but it's down to 136 after 50 dollar MIR, and I've seen a number of ram topics recently....

And I don't know how well it overclocks because with 4 gbs in vista likes running it at 5-5-5-15 at 1.85v which is waaay off stock. I can easily run 4-4-4-12 with 2 gbs on xp though.
