i have an icemat siberia headset and its always been workign perfectly, i come home today turn the pc on and its not working i check in sound and audio and it says that there is no audo device i restarted and unplugged tried most of the common things anyone know whats up?? i can hear the windows startup noise tho
anything?? karma for whoever helps
Possible driver issue, also do you get sound without the headset?
dont see how i would get sound without the headset but i put the headset into something else and it worked fine how would i go about fixing this driver issue
what type of sound card do you have?
i think its sigmatel something, but im using a usb sound card which is a plantronics thing

A. Try to find the correct drivers for the card your using
or
B. Try a system restore (quicker if you dont know what sound card you have)
or
C. Try a driver rollback

i just saw a windows update for my pc and i did it restarted and now it works lol karma for you anyway k
