For those of you still out there that don't have sandbox, where are you? Sandbox v 0.4 Is like the best mod out there for bf2. Google search it and download it immediately! In sandbox, you can go anywhere (no out of bounds), Spawn anything from tanks to teddy bears, or just make a bridge towards the sky that slopes down into a huge ramp. You can make buildings and forts or make a custom arena for you and your friends to fight in. You can play on the original maps or on the new one called Clearing. I have some vids of cool things you can do with Sandbox. YOU CAN EVEN CHANGE THE GRAVITY!

True, but It's easy to spend hours making things and then using Fraps or Gamecam to capture it. Or invite your friends over with their computers and have a LAN fest.

Ok I've installed it and played around with it in a Local game.

Theres only two servers online - but they're both empty

Someone join me please on the 7 player version, put a tick in only these boxes:

Same Mod, Small Maps, Medium Maps, Large Maps

And two will come up.

Hmmm I've had problems with servers not coming up on Sandbox... however at the moment I am getting all of them (I think). 18 at the moment. The options I have are-

1) All map sizes ticked
2) Same version ticked (If I untick this I get another server, but bit pointless as I can't play it.)
3) Same mod (As otherwise you get every single BF2 server for every mod.)

3 of them have people in at the moment. There is always at least one server with 5+ people in it for me.

Yeah but It's not free I tried to bittorent it and since I have the cracked version of Half Life 2, It wouldn't work. But Yeah G mod Is one of the best sandbox mods out there. Do u think Halo 3 sould have a Map editor in it So that people won't have to mod and hack their Xbox?

Are servers for mods free? If they are please tell me how to make my own. I will give karma to the first person that can give a good answer. If the first person says no but another person says yes, I will investigate the person that said yes, and if he's right, I will give him karma instead. If it's wrong, I will give the other guy karma. And If the guy that said yes had a method that wasn't true (to getting a server), but someone else gave me the right method, I will give karma to the right method. Basically, you get karma for having the first right answer.

Important notes:

Boats have NO fall damage.....instead of pulling the parachute, spawn a boat below and slightly in front of you, and hold the enter key as you pass, you land nice and soft

If you spawn a vehichle, and grab it, it will still have fall damage....so you can pick up a jet, and smash it into something and it will explode....It makes a hell of a weapon....

Take a TOW and have your friend hop in it. Grab it and put it under ground. It's weird. you can also change he gravity so that you can swim underwater. The game thinks that when you are on land, the gravity will push you down, while in water the gravity will push you up, thus when in water, gravity from above the water is pushing you down, while water is pushing you up, making you on the surface of water. Now when you get in the water, change the gravity into the positives, making you lift into the air when you are on land. When the gravity change is applied, the water and land gravity go in the opposite directions than before, thus making you sink when in water. The water's gravity is changed to the opposite and pulls you down instead of pushing you up. But it will seem like you are falling so you will die unless you are in a shallow spot. You can do h=this with a boat and be a submarine.

In sandbox, AA's are spawnpoints. You place one in there so that you can spawn in there.
