...leads to lack of titan attacking!!

Seriously though, what were they thinking? Sure, its great to be rewarded for bunkering down and defending your titan against the enemy, BUT not when it encourages everyone to sit on the titan as soon as the shields go down.

Yeah the titan attack award is nice, but you can only get it three times.

I think someone attacking the titan is more deserving of a pin than someone sitting in a hallway defending it, seeing as they're more likely to get killed and sometimes they've gone out of their way to get onto the enemy titan in the first place. Not to mention it takes more teamwork to attack a titan thats being defended, and isn't that what 2142 is supposed to be all about.

I've played too many rounds where both shields go down and both titans end up full of their own soldiers defending with only one or two people (if you're lucky) attacking from each team and the match drags on until one titan is taken down by missiles from the silos.

I think EA/DICE should just get rid of the useless transporter pin and replace it with a titan attack pin.

I think the defend pin is well placed, since most people never want to defend anything. I see a lot where the defense gets too heavy and attackers can choose to assault titan or easily hold the silos. Not sure if this is due to this pin or not.

I think an attack pin to the scale of a defence one will lead to people ignoring the silos too much.

The win is more important than the pin

I agree there should be a titan attack pin. I've had heaps of rounds where both teams are defending and the one or two people that actually attack have no chance whatsoever.

I agree with NoGodsNoMasters here that they should ditch the now-impossible-to-get troop transporter pin and replace it with a titan attack pin. I was thinking about the lack of titan attack pin just today during a game. Think its stupid. Especially since its far far easier to defend than it is to attack.

Still kinda useless, though...

I thought the whole point with pins was that they were supposed to be easy to get you would just get them playing normal not to whore a whole round like a manic to get a little pin. Thats what the ribbons/badges are for.

This is adressed towards the "problem solver pin" and "troop transport pin".

Problemsolver pin on servers with a small number of players is easy
