Ok this will be a very easy, short guide, and all you will need will be a mic, Sound Recorder (It comes with windows XP, and I don't know about Vista just use some program that you can recoord .WAVs with) and CS:Source. Now, I only tried this with the sound files for a custom skin that I downloaded from fpsbanana.com, but I will look for the sound files of the regular weapons later and I'll edit this post. It should work for the regular weapons anyways. Ok first, just open Sound Recorder and click record (the big red button) to start recording. Then, say something into your mic that you will use as the weapon firing sound. I suggest you make it something short so that it doesn't create a loop effect if you use up the whole 1min recording time. Then save it as a .wav file somewhere where you won't forget it. Then, find the sound file for the weapon you want to use it for. I use knife_stab or something like that and I saved my mic recording as knife_stab also. Then cut the newly created sound .wav and paste it in the folder with the .wav of the weapon. It should ask if you want to overwrite it and you should say yes. You can mess around and have some fun with this. Now everytime I stab someone, my voice says "stab" in an extremely low and dull way. Next I'm going to make my shotgun say "BOOM!" Well, I guess this is my first guide so.....Don't flame me?.....I guess....
