recently changed to the 8800 from a 6600GT..........i like the imporvement but not the heat (ie thats why the side is off - until i get a fan to take the exhaust out from under the 8800)

dude go look for the Sansun Galaxy case it is top notch for cooling it has 2x9cm fans at the front 1x12cm fan on the rear and a 25cm fan on the side for those pesky hot GFX cards, best £50 i spent on my rig, heres a link.

The 2 front fans 1 extracts 1 pushes air the rear fan extracts and the side fan pushes, i run a clocked opteron 148 and a 7600gs which is passively cooled my average CPU temp over a 24 hour period is 43 degrees (it helps that i have an Arctic cool 64 CPU fan not the stock 1), i recommend anyone who is clocking there CPU get a Arctic cool 64 fan the are awesome, my GFX temp whilst playing BF2 on max settings over a 6 hour period was only 48 degrees.

Thermaltake cases kick arse i have the silver Kandalf case almost identical to yours best upgrade i ever did for it was replace the 2 x 120mm fans in the front and back with some beastly Delta bad boys with a couple of fan mates.
