I think EA needs a new Expansion pack to satisfy the needs of something new. Yes there is POA and other mods, but I want it ranked. Perhaps a new explosive (time bomb) New vehicles (Offspree) Re-edited maps (Strike with no fog) or ability to drop 4 tanks as commander in one round, instead of unlimited Cars.

It would be nice and a shot in the arm for the BF2 community but expect more vastly overpowered weapons.

I'm talking about ranked as in you load up normal bf2 and the stats u got from the xpack are right there. And to be able to use the xpack's weapons in bf2, like BF2 spec. forces.

I thought that some EA guy said that it would be impossible to add more unlock weapons because of the memory requirements of the game or something. All I remember is that the punchline was no, no more unlocks

I love how in bf2s.com's advanced state, you come along and rehash every single thing that has already been discussed here to no end. It sort of reminds me of myself a little while back. But if you use the search and revive old threads people will probably complain just as much, so whatever.
And by the way, unlocks aren't that great. Just like everybody else here has already concluded, unlocks have very little to do with your overall performance. Its what you are doing that makes 99% of the difference. The only clear winner among unlocks is the L96. In general, standard weapons are as good or better.
