Sorry for your friend. Hope he recovers well, and hope his assailant (is that the word) gets life, and by that I mean a real fucking life sentence not this stupid 30 years in jail thing and then parole.
edit: Hell almost makes me want to have a vigilante group. Same shit happens in DC man, someone gets shot or raped or killed we're all like "OMGZ HOW COULD DIS HAPPEN". It's been happening for years now, because our law enforcement fucking sucks. Do you honestly think a gang of criminals are scared of an overweight cop with a pistol? Of course not. I'd be fine having actual MILITARY people being the law enforcement. As long as they don't get corrupt, I wouldn't shed a tear if some rapist gets his brains blasted out by a guy with an M4.
Honestly, this shit should not be allowed to happen. Again Ryan, I really hope they catch this motherfucker and make a spectacle out of him (public hangings don't sound bad right now).
